JOY Model Management is a modeling agency operating in Brazil since 2008 under the direction of Liliana Gomes and Marcelo Fonseca. JOY is headquartered in São Paulo, with other offices in Porto Alegre, Curitiba, Belo Horizonte and Florianopolis.
JOY employs more than 30 professionals who manage a diverse array of talent. We specialize in fashion and commercial modeling, international management, celebrities (BAA Talent), new faces and business operations. JOY hosts ‘The Look of The Year’, an annual competition recognized as one of the most important in the country.
ABOUT THE PARTNERS
Liliana Gomes is graduated in Law and decided to bring her passion and talent to the fashion industry. During her career, she discovered some of the top Brazilian supermodels such as Gisele Bundchen, Isabeli Fontana, Michelle Alves, Raica Oliveira, Ana Beatriz Barros and Caroline Ribeiro, among others. Internationally, she worked as manager at Viva Model Management Paris. In 2008 she co-founded JOY Model Management with John Casablancas.
Marcelo Fonseca is a broad-acting entrepreneur. He is graduated in Business Administration and directs institutions in the fields of environment, infrastructure, energy, finance and marketing. His career in the fashion industry began in 1999, as a director of other major modeling agencies. In 2011, he joined at JOY Model Management as managing partner.
