CBA founder, Chris Boals, has been working in the photography industry since 1990. Her career began in Paris as the right hand of photo agent pioneer Marion de Beaupre, who represented many of the worlds’ most acclaimed photographers, including Peter Lindbergh, Paolo Roversi, Ellen von Unwerth, David Sims, and Guido Mocafico. After relocating to New York City in 1997 and starting CBA later that year, she quickly developed a reputation for her ability to discover and develop untapped talent. CBA has since represented some of the world’s most exciting photographers and stylists.
CBA’s priority is to nurture its artists’ visions while respecting their clients’ needs and goals. The company’s agents and producers are skilled at finding solutions and providing an efficient, friendly experience for their clients. In just the past few seasons, CBA has collaborated on memorable campaigns for an international client list ranging from luxury brands such as Louis Vuitton, YSL, Versace, Cartier, Bulgari and Dior to sportswear giants like Nike & Adidas, retailers around the globe (H&M, Victoria’s Secret, JCrew, Strellson, Nautica, Tommy Hilfiger, Kenneth Cole) and beauty & fragrance clients such as L’Oreal, Revlon, Coty, Avon, and Sephora.
