Many Internet models aspire to a mainstream modeling career. In safety as so many other things, there is a cultural difference between the two areas. If a model approaches a mainstream agency or client with the kinds of skepticism and distrust that is accepted in the Internet world, she will find that she is treated like foreign protein. Outside of the Internet that kind of behavior is not accepted. That is not to say that a model should go into things blindly just because the Internet is not involved. But she should recognize that quiet research and a friendly, cooperative attitude will take her a lot farther than suspicion.
